Earn a minor in Speech and Hearing Sciences with only 19 hours of coursework, and learn about communication across the lifespan and communication disorders, and gain a basic understanding of how to interact with individuals with communication disorders in educational, social, and employment settings. The MS SLP class of 2021 and the MS RS SLP class of 2020 celebrate Better Speech and Hearing Month.
The Department of Speech Pathology & Audiology at the University of South Alabama offers the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Doctor of Audiology (AuD), Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (MSSLP), and Bachelor of Science (BS) in Speech and Hearing Sciences degree programs.  Additionally, the department operates an active clinic, the USA Speech and Hearing Center, that serves as a referral site for the Gulf Coast and southern Alabama regions.
