▼   FAQs

Are masks required?

As per University guidelines for reopening, masks are required for all members of the Student Recreation Center before you are admitted into the building, in all transition areas, stairways, elevators, hallways, seating areas, walking track, climbing wall, office suite, and when exiting the building. Masks are also required on the indoor pool deck and back deck when unable to maintain social distancing of at least six feet. Masks are recommended but not required while actively participating in some fitness activities and are required for other fitness activities. Each individual area of the Student Recreation Center has signage detailing if masks are required or not, and with the maximum number of patrons allowed in that area.

Can guests come to the Student Recreation Center?

Not at this time. To control the risks of COVID-19 exposure to University employees, the Campus Reopening Committee has determined that, until further notice, no visitors or invited guests are allowed in buildings on the main campus. This does not include contractors and vendors who are required to be on campus to fulfill their obligations.

▼   Reserve Your Time

Each person who utilizes the Student Recreation Center will need to reserve a spot in a time block, with a limit of one reservation per day. Members can see the time blocks in our hours of operation. Reservations for each time block will open 24 hours in advance. We do allow walk-ups for each time block if space is available.

We can allow a maximum of 75 patrons into the building during each time block. Primary members may reserve a spot for family members who also have a SRC membership. Dependent hours still apply; children age 16 and under may only use the SRC on Fridays after 4:00 PM, Saturdays, and Sundays.
