Group Fitness Classes

SouthFit's group fitness classes include cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, and neuromotor skills. Our certified instructors will lead you in fun and effective workouts!

During Fall 2020, we will offer both in-person and virtual fitness classes. Expand the boxes below for more information.

▼   In-person classes

Members should make a building reservation through the Campus Recreation Portal. Do not create a new portal account. If you do not know how to login, please read the instructions on our department homepage.

Class sizes will be limited on a first-come, first-serve basis. You may not save a class spot for another member. Once you claim your class spot, you may not leave it. Admittance into the building does not guarantee a spot in a class.

Bring a mat to all in-person classes.

▼   Virtual classes

Virtual classes are open to current USA students and members of the Student Recreation Center. Register through our Campus Recreation Portal. Do not create a new portal account. If you do not know how to login, please read the instructions on our department homepage.

Choose the class, add to cart, and checkout. The Zoom link will be in the attachment that is emailed to you. All virtual class times are in the Central time zone.

**Like all exercise programs, there are risks and hazards associated with participation in virtual Group Fitness Classes. In exchange for being allowed to participate, participants assume all responsibility for and risk of loss, damage, illness and/or damage to person or property associated with participation. You are advised to consult with a physician if you are concerned about your ability to safely participate.
