GEO 494 : DIRECTED
STUDIES
IN GEOGRAPHY
Directed Studies allows geography students to explore a topic or work on a research project under a faculty member's supervision. Internships are work experiences in which a student usually works for an agency as a volunteer for 8 hours per week. Occasionally internship credit is approved for experiences in which the student is actively applying knowledge and skills learned in class in a paid position. Typically these are minimally paid Student Conservation Association positions, not cooperative positions through Career Services. The following are examples of directed studies and internships supervised by Dr. Fearn.
Adult Interdisciplinary Studies students must complete a Senior Project that brings together their areas of academic concentration. Listed at the bottom are AIS projects supervised by Dr. Fearn. |
